SEBRING, FL. (THECOUNT) — Cynthia Watson, 65, and Marisol Lopez, 55, have been identified as two of five victims after gunman, 21-year-old Zephen Xaver, stormed a Florida bank Wednesday afternoon and opened fire.

Officials said Thursday that all five victims in the Sebring SunTrust bank shooting were woman.

Xaver entered the bank, shot the women and then called police to report the shooting.

He later surrendered to negotiators after police smashed an armored vehicle through the facade of the building.

SunTrust branch is located at 1901 US Highway 27 S, Sebring police Chief Karl Hoglund said at a news conference.

During first appearance, Xaver requested a public defender, reports ABCactionnews.
