RICHMOND, VA. (THECOUNT) — Timothy Garnett has been identified as the victim found suffering from gunshot injuries on a Richmond, VA, sidewalk Friday night.
Garnett, 28, was discovered shot to death on a sidewalk at the intersection of Bethel St & Carmine St in Richmond, VA, just before 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Police arrived to Carmine Street on call of shots fired. Upon arrival, Garnett was found deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
A second person was also shot and sent to the hospital with injuries that are not life threatening.
Motive or suspect information was not provided by officials.
“Although it was at night, there were lots of people in the area at that time who may have seen or heard something,” said Major Crimes Captain James Laino. “With the right tip, we could solve this crime quickly, but we need them to come forward and tell us what they know.” source
