MYALUP, WA. (THECOUNT) — A cow in Myalup, Western Australia, is making headlines for its massive stature. ‘Knickers‘ has been deemed safe from the abattoir because his owners say, he’s simply “too big” to send to slaughter.

Knickers, 7, is hailed as Australia’s biggest steer by its owner, Geoff Pearson, who claims the beast weighs in at about the same as a sitting Toyota Hilux and stands at a dizzying 6ft 4 inches tall. That’s 2 inches shorter than basketball legend, Michael Jordan.

Australian media hilariously depicted the gentle giant casually roaming around with the rest of the his herd while towering above them.

Happily, but unlike the rest of his mates, Knickers will be allowed to live out the rest of his days snacking on alfalfa along the plains of Western Australia.

Pearson said: “It was too heavy. I wouldn’t be able to put it through a processing facility, so I think it will just live happily ever after.”source
