If you did, he’s the sick little boy who was thrown a highly-publicized Make-A-Wish Foundation dream parade in the Bay area 5 years ago this week. The heart-wrenching ordeal even caught the eye of then-president Obama, who sent him a special videotaped message.
Miles Scott, the then-5-year-old boy who captured the hearts of millions by saving the day as San Francisco “Batkid” – is now living cancer-free and reportedly thriving.

The Bay Area chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation provided the encouraging and heartwarming update Thursday. source
“He’s doing great!” the local chapter posted of the boy, who’s from the tiny Northern California town of Tulelake.
Miles had battled leukemia for years when he took over as his favorite superhero, receiving a police escort as he traveled around San Francisco to save Gotham. He even rescued Giants mascot Lou Seal from the Penguin at AT&T Park.
