TULSA, OK. (THECOUNT) — Shaunday Nathaniel Mullins has been identified as the suspect shot and killed in a Tulsa police-involved shooting on Tuesday morning.
Police and SWAT arrived at 4538 E. 8Th St, in Tulsa, when Mullins, 37, released two children out of the house. Officers said that is when Mullins fired a shot outside.

One officer returned fire and Mullins was struck twice in the chest.
He was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of gunshot wounds consistent with the incident.
Police said the two kids who were released from the home were not injured. An unidentified woman, who was inside the house at the time of the incident, was taken in custody.
Tulsa police told reporters they were serving a “high-risk warrant” for firearms and narcotics at a home near 11th and Yale. Officers said they had a SWAT team out because they knew the man they were looking for would have guns. source
