UPSHUR COUNTY, TX (THECOUNT) – The Texas Department of Public Safety has released a statement identifying Taylor Blane Ehrensberger, as the 18-year-old Gilmer native killed in a crash on FM-1650 about eight miles east of Gilmore, TX.
76-year-old Longview, TX., man, Jimmy Earl Moore, was hospitalized after a two vehicle crash that happened just before 1:30 p.m. Sunday in in Upshur County, TX. His updated condition was not made immediately available.

Ehrensberger was pronounced dead at the scene.
From the Department of Public Safety:
“On June 10, 2018 at approximately 1:21 PM, Troopers responded to a two vehicle fatal crash on FM-1650 in Upshur County, eight miles east of the city of Gilmer. Preliminary crash reports indicate the driver of a 2005 Dodge Dakota, Jimmy Earl Moore, 76, of Longview failed to yield the right of way exiting a private drive on the west side of FM-1650 to a 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser, driven by Taylor Blane Ehrensberger, 18, of Gilmer who was traveling south on the same roadway. Ehrensberger was killed as a result of the crash, she was pronounced by JP Rebecca Skinner. She was transported to McWhorter Funeral Home in Gilmer. Moore was transported to Longview Regional Hospital in stable condition. The crash remains under investigation.”
