“Great news about Samantha Pritchett. She has moved her whole body. She is responding really well with voices. Everything is going great and the doctors are saying that her progress is fantastic. If you want to visit then please do not hesitate. You are more then welcomed. The more voices she hears the better it is. Thank you all for the well wishes and prayers,” Jensen wrote on Facebook.

Pritchett’s fiancé says he was on his way to help her with her stalled car but when he arrived he found the horrible crash scene. “My first thought was I have to get there to find out how bad it is,” Kyle Jensen told 6 News. He says he was on the phone with his fiancé as he told her to keep her emergency flashers on while she waited.

Jensen heard the last words she uttered before the impact. “Her in the middle of a sentence and then I hear the skid…basically the collision and then I hear the skid marks of the tires.” source

Before Jensen arrived at the crash scene a nurse and a sheriff deputy nearby had stopped to help. The nurse performed CPR. “If it wasn’t for her or the deputy, I don’t think we’d be here right now.”

According to the Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office, Pritchett’s car was struck by a black 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche truck traveling eastbound. The driver and his passenger had minor injuries.

Jensen has remained by Pritchett’s hospital bedside since the tragic accident.

She is listed in stable but critical condition.
