Lorenzo Carter has been identified by the Mississippi Highway Patrol as the man killed Thursday on Interstate 55 south of Crystal Springs in Copiah County. He was 64.
Carter, of Clinton, Miss., was heading north when his pickup truck ran off the road.

Carter was thrown from the truck when it overturned. There is no word on if Carter was wearing a seatbelt. Emergency officials rushed him to a hospital in Copiah County. He died shortly after arriving. source
Those who knew the beloved Reverend took to Facebook to express condolences.
“Everyone needs encouragement from time to time. We all face crises, challenges, setbacks, oppositions, and adversities at some point in life. Problems and troubles do not discriminate. There are three enemies that normally work against us: satan, Murphy’s law, and the enemy within, which is self,” wrote Rev. Carter on his personal blog.
