Sherri Michelle Burks was named as the 21-year-old was killed in a late-night crash on Interstate 24 in Montgomery County, TN.
According to officials, the incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday on I-24 West in Clarksville.

Officials with the Tennessee Highway Patrol said Sherri Burks was traveling westbound when she came upon traffic congestion. Burks reportedly tried to go around a truck pulling a trailer that had slowed down. Troopers said she was killed after crashing into the truck at a high rate of speed. source
The driver of the truck, Timothy Hodel, was not hurt.
No charges would be filed in the wreck.

According to Burks’ Facebook page she worked as a Key Holder at GODIVA. She studied Audio Engineering and Recording at Belmont University. She also studies biology at Austin Peay State University.
