Dolce & Gabbana is taking serious heat on social media after releasing a new sneaker featuring the phrase, “I’m Thin & Gorgeous.” Folks on social media were quick to pan the new shoe, accusing D&G of fat shaming.
The new sneaker features a white low top with a jeweled back and black laces. The phrases “so fab,” “love you more” and “I’m Thin & Gorgeous,” are written in graffiti print.

Stefano Gabbana responded to negative commenters on the post, saying: “When idiocy distorts reality!!! incredibile!!!! Next time we’ll write LOVE TO BE FAT AND FULL OF CHOLESTEROL.” He went on to tag several outlets and pepper the post with emojis. With that response, it’s safe to say commenter’s concerns won’t be heard or taken seriously among the Dolce & Gabbana team. h/t teenvouge
