Skiing champ, Lindsey Vonn, was evacuated to a local hospital in Andorra after a serious crash during the World Cup super-G on Saturday.
Vonn sustained an unspecified left knee injury during the dramatic eggbeater.

The U.S. ski team said in a statement that Vonn “was taken off the mountain on a sled by ski patrol and her injuries are being evaluated.” She was leading all racers by .32 seconds at the split when she crashed about 50 seconds into a minute-long run. The team’s spokeswoman, Megan Harrod, confirmed to The Associated Press that Vonn hurt her knee, adding she had no more details yet.
