Octomom Nadya Suleman’s son Caleb was rushed to the hospital Friday after drinking a chemical from his brother’s make-your-own volcano kit. The mother and son were taken to St. Jude Medical Center, where doctors determined the little tyke was A-OK. They both returned home later that day.

Suleman told People magazine about calling the paramedics “I knew it would all get blown out of proportion if I called, but I didn’t want to take any chances.” I’m just curious why she feels the need to tell People about all her choices. Oh, that’s right, she loves her celebrity status. Even a personal family accident is worth a buck or two, right? Silly me, what was I thinking?
The magazine says the residence was a mad house when medical personnel arrived. Firefighters were posing for pictures as onlookers watched. What a crazy life this woman lives.
