Rapper DMX is getting played by Phoenix prison staff. After DMX, (who’s real name is Earl Simmons) misbehaved after going off his meds. Guards tortured him by allowing him to eat only bread and water. Then when Simmons lost it and tried to grab a mouthful of real food, the guard objected. In the exchange, Simmons tossed a food tray and DMX was promptly charged with additional offenses, the guard was uninjured.
Simmons, in jail at the Maricopa County detention center for 90 days after copping to theft, drug and animal cruelty charges. Now his stay may be extended to 8 years.

Anyone who has followed DMX’s troubles over that last few years knows he is off his rocker. Maybe rather than being placed in a prison and tormented with food, DMX should be housed in a mental ward, where he belongs.
