ABC News got caught faking a crime scene for a live TV report. ABC reporter, Linsey Davis, appeared to be reporting from a crime scene related to Kala Brown, the woman who was found being held against her will in a South Carolina storage container by sex offender, Todd Kohlhepp.
Davis issued her report in front crime scene tape, there was one little problem, the police tape was strung between two lighting stands erected by an ABC News grip.
The crime scene tape was just a TV prop to make it look like she was in front of the real crime scene … and the lie was exposed in a photo obtained by CNN. You can clearly see the yellow tape was tied to production equipment to give the illusion Davis was reporting right from the scene of the investigation. Continue reading
At least 13 people are dead and dozens were injured Sunday morning after a tour bus and a tractor-trailer collided on the 10 Freeway near Palm Springs.
EMS are searching for more victims in the mangled tour bus. Photos from the scene show the bus and truck nearly completely destroyed by the severe impact.
All westbound lanes of the highway are closed and traffic is being diverted, according to the California Highway Patrol. Reports say at least 21 victims have been taken to Palm Springs-area hospitals. Photos show the front of the passenger bus pushed into the semi-truck’s trailer. San Francisco Fire is reporting that boat capsized near Pier 45 with about 30 juveniles on board.
SFFD said on social media that some may be trapped under the hull.
Commuters are experiencing massive MTA delays over a power failure at rail control.
Travelers were warned Wednesday to expect “extensive delays” on all subway lines, according to the MTA’s online service tracker.
The outage was reported at 1:30 p.m. on the MTA’s website.
In addition to the power outage, signal problems were further stalling trains on the Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 lines, the agency said. Continue reading
It would be an understatement to say that Johnny Depp doted on his beloved mother, Betty Sue Palmer, who died earlier this week. Not only did the superstar take his mother as his date to countless major Hollywood functions, he also spent lavishly on her as well tattooing her name inside of a heart on his left arm.
Palmer, who had been ailing for some time, died in the morning hours Friday, May 20. She was 81. Only days later would Depp’s wife, Amber Heard, file for divorce after 15 months of marriage. But I digress.

CHP officials are on the scene after a single engine plane crashed into a car on a San Diego freeway, San Diego officials said.
The crash happened on I-15 north near State Route 76 Saturday morning.

A Delaware County, PA. woman was found dead, apparently murdered inside the bathtub of her apartment. The grisly discovery was made late afternoon at the New Orleans Park apartment complex in the 900 block of South Avenue in Secane, Pennsylvania.
The woman was located during a welfare check after failing to show up for work. Employees and friends discovered her dead in her bathtub, the shower running on top of her body.
“Apparently she works in a packaging company in Chester, Pennsylvania, and when she didn’t show up for work, some of the employees and friends got worried about her and they came here,” said Upper Darby Superintendent Michael Chitwood. Continue reading
The Bachelor contestant, Erin Storm, who appeared on season 12, has died after the plane she was piloting crashed.
Storm competed for Bachelor Matt Grant‘s heart on the popular ABC dating show.

A jury in Nashville, Tennessee, has awarded Erin Andrews a whopping $55 million in her lawsuit against Marriott and the stalker who took secret video of her through a hotel peephole.
The video was taken back in 2008. Andrews was unaware she was being filmed. The film was leaked on the internet.
