BUTLER, PA. (THECOUNT) — Gabriel Bishop GoFundMe: Authorities have now confirmed the identity of the 22-year-old individual tragically lost in a motorcycle crash on Route 422 in Butler Township.
“Gabe” Bishop, a resident of Butler, Pennsylvania, was identified by township police following the incident on Sunday afternoon, April 28.

According to police reports, the accident occurred around 3:08 p.m. on eastbound Route 422, situated between Duffy and Mercer roads. Bishop was attempting to pass a pickup truck when the collision occurred, resulting in fatal injuries as he clipped the truck’s rear bumper.
In response to the incident, Route 422’s eastbound lanes were temporarily closed for approximately an hour to facilitate police investigations. Emergency crews, including the Butler Township Volunteer Fire District, Butler City Bureau of Fire, Butler Ambulance Service, and state police, swiftly responded to the scene.
