LAS VEGAS, NV. (THECOUNT) — A man washing windows outside Trump International hotel Wednesday afternoon, fell to his death, according to Las Vegas Metro police.

The unidentified contractor was washing windows at the highrise, when for reasons not publicly disclosed by officials, fell from an undisclosed floor and was subsequently killed.

Metropolitan Police Department officers and Clark County Fire Department crews were notified of the deadly fall about 12:30 p.m. at the hotel, 2000 Fashion Show Drive.

The man was not an employee of the hotel, a Trump International spokesperson was eager to point out.

It was unknown Wednesday from which floor of the hotel the man fell.

The victim was pronounced dead at University Medical Center.

The fatal plunge was witnessed by multiple horrified bystanders.

“We are deeply saddened to learn of the incident today,” Trump International officials said in a statement. “We are working diligently with the owner of the third-party company to investigate the details. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim and his family.”

Teri Williams, a spokeswoman with the Nevada Occupational Safety and Health Administration, confirmed the agency would be conducting the investigation into the man’s death.

“Beyond that I can’t provide any further details until the investigation is completed and formally closed,” she said, noting details were not immediately available Wednesday regarding whether the unidentified company has been investigated by OSHA in the past. source

A crisis support volunteer was dispatched to the scene to provide emotional and practical support to several individuals who witnessed the fatal fall, according to officials.

Authorities failed to provide further information on the incident.

The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification on next of kin.
