David Moreno:

“July 18th 2017 my brother Max’s life was cut shot do to a senseless act of violence. I don’t blame Albuquerque, The blame falls completely on the individual who decided to take something that wasn’t his with no concern for anyone that got in his way. Everyday, families are effected [sic] by senseless violence caused by drugs, mental illness or greed. I never expected it to effect [sic] my family and I hope your family is never effected [sic]. The sudden loss of a loved one isn’t something we plan on or put money away for just in case. The lose puts both an emotional and financial burden on the entire family. No obligation but if your [sic] sincere about wanting to help and are able to, please consider donating to the go fund me campaign that has been set up in Max’s honor to help cover funeral cost and repairs. Thank You and God Bless you and your family.”

Moreno was found stabbed at the home. He later died of his injuries at the hospital, police said. The home intrusion happened at a home on Cutler Avenue near I-40 sometime before 10 p.m. The nephew of the victim, who also lives at the home, had called 911 after hearing someone breaking into the house and after observing the suspect trying to steal a vehicle. When officers arrived, they eventually found the burglary suspect, 25-year-old Kristopher Marquez, at the doorway of the home and was holding a knife, according to a criminal complaint. Marquez was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary and murder. source
