I like Lil Wayne. He’s a strong performer, a good writer and is, unlike many, shorter than myself. Now the self-professed “greatest rapper alive” has a message for the kids. The musician and Grammy nominee has recorded a PSA urging children to stay in school and focus on education. Right on. You can watch the video here.
I think it’s a good message to send to the youth. I mean, we can’t all be Lil Wayne. We can’t all just focus on rapping and become millionaires. We can’t all date models and get nominated for a bunch of Grammys.
After tearing his ACL weeks ago, Drake took a chance by appearing on Lil Wayne’s “America’s Most Wanted” tour. Drake’s luck was not with him as he is seen in the following video falling to the stage floor at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, New Jersey. Security rushed in and helped Drake to his feet. Lil Wayne then jokes about “needing more insurance” for the tour.
Lil Wayne is gonna be a daddy twice this year by 2 different women!! Singer Nivea Hamilton and model/actress Lauren London of “ATL” and the upcoming “I love You Beth Cooper”.
Man, Lil Wayne you are having the best year ever! Congratulations to Wayne for his growing family. I hope that for Christmas he gets an industrial size mega box of condoms from Costco. Safe sex kids, always practice safe sex unless you’re a rapper who has the top selling album of 2008, 218 tattoos, and a mouth full of pirate treasure.
During their presentation Sandra Bullock tells Ryan Reynolds he should kiss more boys and he counters by saying, “Well I kissed you?!” Ouch.
Zac Efron
Kudos to you Mr. Efron for stepping up and remaining poised, handsome, funny, and respectable. Perhaps having the number one movie when no one saw it coming refines a young man. Well done.
Andy Samberg
Overall Andy Samberg did a great job working in funny bits with amazing cameos (Justin Timberlake, J.J. Abrams, and Will Ferrell as Neil Diamond) and trying to balance his job of the intro person to the intro people for the award winners. Can’t wait to see what Andy and the Keyboard Cat will have in store for us in the future. I wonder if Eminem will finally wash his potty mouth with soap now that he’s gone ass to mouth on Bruno?
Actually, is he even going by the name Slim Shady anymore? Or is he doing a Lil Bow Wow and dropping the Lil, but in his case just calling himself Eminem. Either way, he’s back and on the cover of XXL magazine. In the issue Marshall Mathers gives hip-hop artists, Lil Wayne and T.I, their props for making rap music more creative and powerful. The article reads:
Rap star Eminem has paid tribute to peers TI and Lil Wayne for restoring “substance” to hip-hop. The Without Me star’s new album Relapse is released in May and in an upcoming confessional interview with genre magazine XXL, the rapper reveals the extent of his addiction to anti-depressants and his grief over the death of friend and D12 member Proof.
And after the release of his new single We Made You, Eminem has revealed that despite taking a break from music he remained connected with hip-hop and felt the genre was “going downhill” during his absence. “It seemed like kinda fast,” he explained. “You know, in them three years, it was like everybody just cares about the hook and the beat; nobody really cares about substance.
Jimmy Kimble posted his interview with rapper Lil Wayne on YouTube. Wayne talks about the price of his grill. Makes me feel for the people who don’t have the money right now to get a cavity fixed.
