‘Josue D. Alonzo, Jr’ Identified As IA Man Found Shot Dead In Des Moines

Des Moines police have identified, Josue D. Alonzo Jr., as the victim found laying in the street after they received a call of shots fire area of East 30th Street and Garfield Friday evening.

Alonzo, Jr., 20, of Des Moines, was pronounced dead at the scene.

PANIC As THIRD Deputy SHOT In Sacramento Cops Scrambling (LIVE POLICE SCANNER)

Another deputy, (for a total of three,) in the Sacramento area of Placer counties were shot Friday morning as law enforcement officials scramble to figure out what they have on their hands.

The shootings led to a massive manhunt spreading from the Arden area to Carmichael to Auburn, and helicopters were searching an area off Maidu Road and near the American River Canyon Overlook park at about 12:45 p.m. today. h/t sacbee

Man Who Admitted To Killing 7 Indiana Women Identified

This is a photo of 43-year-old Darren Deon Vann, the Gary, Indiana, resident who admitted to murdering seven women.

Vann is a registered sex offender in Texas, for a 2009 conviction.

Teen Couple ARRESTED Over Anne Hill Disappearance

Two teenagers have been arrested and charged with first-degree murder over the disappearance of Piedmont, OK., teenager, Anne Hill.

Chadd Raymond, 16, and Chloe Thomas, 16, were taken into custody by Oklahoma City Police Homicide investigators and named as suspects in Hill’s disappearance. Hill, also 16, was reported missing in April, 2014.

Initially the investigation was assigned to the missing persons unit. But the case has been reassigned to the homicide unit after police said there is a reason to suspect foul play. Continue reading

Texas Softball Bus Crash To Be Investigated As Homicide

A semi-truck crossed a highway median slamming into the side of the North Central Texas College Girls Softball team‘s bus, killing four young women and leaving more than a dozen others injured.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Capt. Ronnie Hampton said the team’s coach, who was also driving the bus, and the driver of the truck escaped serious injury. It took more than an hour for cops to locate the truck driver and his vehicle.

“When it impacted the bus, it just kept going and went off the side of road. … We knew we had a two-vehicle accident by what we saw at the scene. … But it took about an hour before we found the semi,” Hampton said.

“Right now, it’s being investigated like a homicide,” Hampton said, adding that both drivers will undergo standard toxicology tests. Continue reading

Man Arrested On Drug Charges After Pocket Dialing 911

A Tennessee man was arrested after pocket dialing 911 while talking about buying marijuana.

Grant O’Connor was stopped and searched outside a restaurant after dispatchers traced the call where they heard him talking about getting high and going to a drug dealer’s house.


The officer searched the O’Conner’s car and found a bag of marijuana and drug paraphernalia underneath his seat. He was charged with simple possession and possession of drug paraphernalia after his Friday. Continue reading

‘Chicago Fire’ Actress KILLED By Falling Tree

Molly Glynn, the actress who played a recurring role as a doctor on the TV series “Chicago Fire,” has been killed by a falling tree.

The incident happened during a storm as she rode her bicycle. She was 46.


Glynn’s husband called 911 just before 4 p.m. on Friday to say his wife had been injured, Cook County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Sophia Ansari said. NorthShore Evanston Hospital spokeswoman Colette Urban confirmed Glynn died Saturday. Continue reading
