Last night, we went to a Tony Bennett concert at the Las Vegas Hilton! I love Tony Bennett, but my Grandma loved him even more! I was the youngest person at the concert, but I might have been the most excited. I’m one of those emotional people who get so happy that they cry! I was searching for tissues in the dark! LOL!
Tony Bennett is such a big legend. He is the last player still performing from the era of the Frank Sinatra pack. Tony even mentioned that Frank Sinatra was his best friend in show business. Tony also mentioned that he doesn’t really like today’s music, he still likes to listen and sing music from the good old days. Tony was singing songs from the 1930’s! The old time songs are so interesting to me, they all last about 1 minute! Just when it sounds like the song has started, it’s already over! Hey, it keeps your attention I guess!
The Golden Globe Awards drug in like every TV and movie star and even top directors like Martin Scorsese! Legendary actress Sophia Loren even showed up! Even the California Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger showed up to present an award. Everyone I can think of that is hot in TV and movies was there! Wait! There were a couple people missing now that I think of it: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie! They were probably busy saving the world again

I’m not big into the fashion thing, but there is something I did notice at the Golden Globes that I did not care for. ‘Mermaid’ and ‘Drape Curtain’ style gowns! Why were so many female stars dressed in these long-ass gowns with a train dragging behind them, or their dress touching the ground? The rain in Beverly Hills was not helping this style of dress either!
Is this going to be the year of Mermaid and Drapey Gowns?
TLC’s hit reality show “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ stars Jon and Kate, rang in to 911 yesterday. According to news reports, Kate made the call.
TMZ reports that “Sources close to Jon and Kate tell TMZ that Kate was upset because Jon wanted to leave the kids with Stephanie Santoro — the babysitter who was handpicked by Jon.”
“Kate has serious trust issues with Santoro, and doesn’t want her playing nanny with her kids. Kate went to the house to watch the kids instead of Santoro — and that sparked the fight that ended with Kate calling 911.”
After the short 10 min. visit from police, Kate then left the property to stay at a nearby Days Inn Hotel without the kids because it was Jon’s turn to watch them. Poor children.
Cigarette smokin’ Katherine “Highhorse” Heigl is bitching about her job again! First, she complained about being nominated for an Emmy Award for the show “Grey’s Anatomy” last year. Then, she said some dumb remarks about being apart of the Judd Apatow movie “Knocked Up”. She said, “It was hard for me to love [Apatow's] movie” because it’s “a little sexist…” AND “It paints the women as shrews, as humorless and uptight, and it paints the men as goofy, fun-loving guys.” Her co-star Seth Rogan, who is a super star now, responded to her “Knocked Up” comments: “I gotta say it’s not like we’re the only people she said some crazy b.s. things about. That’s kind of her bag now.”
Now her new complaint is that she was ‘on “Grey’s Anatomy” set too long’ in one day. Katherine is calling her work schedule “cruel and mean”. Katherine was upset about working a 17 hour day. She must not think of her acting career as a “privilege”. She thinks of it as a “right”…that it’s owed to her. Watch, she’ll be overthrown by an actress who appreciates the opportunity.
Since Mischa Barton has been released from the koo-koo’s nest, she’s been preparing for her new show on the CW “The Beautiful Life.” They are supposedly still giving Mischa the role even though her image has been completely wrecked. She is making a nice improvement with her looks since the mental ward. This girl needs a spiritual makeover to get that icky gray aura off her back. Alert the Gurus! Save Mischa!!! Okay, I am feeling bad for her now…
Remember Kristen Cavallari? She was that girl that was on the MTV show “Laguna Beach”. She is now pushing out Lauren Conrad and taking her spot on the upcoming season of MTV’s “The Hills”.
The Hills was filming in Malibu Beach, CA yesterday. Is Kristen in the best shape for a bikini? I thought you had to be stick thin to be on “The Hills”. I guess they are accepting different sizes now.

Larry King Live is the first choice of shows that Brown’s team picked for him to do. The team believes the Brown will be able to get his apology across without facing brutal questioning.
