PARKER COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Mark Housewright, of Athens, Texas, has been identified as the pedestrian in a Wednesday night fatal vehicle strike in Parker County.
Housewright, 21, was killed after being struck by two vehicle on Interstate 20 near Weatherford Wednesday night.
According to reports, Housewright was on-foot on I-20 near Mile Marker 396 in Weatherford, when he attempted to cross the roadway and was struck by a passenger vehicle and a semi-tractor Wednesday night.
Housewright was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The drivers did not suffer any injuries and remained on the scene.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
