A 21-year-old Lake Mary woman killed late Tuesday in a crash on I-4 in Seminole County has been identified as Marissa Lybarger, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Lybarger was traveling east on I-4 between FL-436 and FL-434 in Altamonte Springs, FL., when the fatal crash occurred, the FHP said in a report.
Troopers said Lybarger was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu and failed to slow as she approached a dump truck. The front of her car hit the rear of the truck, troopers said. It’s not known if Lybarger was wearing a seat belt or if alcohol played a role in the crash, the FHP said. source
Lybarger was pronounced dead at the scene.
The dump truck driver, a 59-year-old Orlando man, was not injured, according to the FHP.
