Beckinsdale says that her smoking habit attributes to her ‘traumatic’ teen years, plus her actor Father Richard Beckinsdale dying when she was four. But are past experiences like that valid reasons for a life-long habit?

Kate will be always Kate, even she's smoker or not!
I'm a smoker also and I'm sick and tired of people raging on us smokers. If someone would turn her down because of her choice of smoking its there loss.
Smoking kills the deal. They may be hot but if they smoke it changes my perception of them. I will still watch her movies but she will always be labled as "hot but she smokes". But it's just my opinion. I wonder how many celebs smoke?
