Please Help Free the Killer Whales from SeaWorld’s Prison!

Killer Whale is shedding light on the recent death of one of SeaWorld’s killer whale trainers. This is a big wake-up call reminding us that holding wild animals captive is not okay. We need to band together and make a statement that we will not stand for this. released this important announcement in regards to the death of the SeaWorld trainer, and the fate of holding killer whales captive:

“In aquariums, dolphins and other sea animals routinely die prematurely of stress and other captivity-related causes, and SeaWorld has an abysmal record. But it’s not just animals who are dying as a result of this industry: Human injuries and deaths are also common.

The most recent death of yet another trainer at SeaWorld did not have to happen, and this is not the first time a trainer has been seized, thrown against the walls of the tank, and held down to drown.

The intelligent, social ocean animals kept in the pitifully small tanks at SeaWorld are denied everything that is natural and important to them. In the wild, they swim up to 100 miles a day in the open ocean, but captured dolphins are confined to small tanks where the reverberations from their own sonar bounce off the walls, driving some of them insane. Some of these animals were violently captured from their homes, many are forced to learn circus-style tricks, and according to whistleblower tips from trainers, withholding food and isolating animals who refuse to perform are common training methods.

The only thing that people learn from visiting a SeaWorld theme park is how miserable life is for animals held there. Children see mere shadows of animals, defeated beings who are not behaving as they should and cannot do what nature intended for them. And these parks teach all the wrong lessons: that it is acceptable to imprison animals; to deprive them of freedom of movement and thought; to forbid them the chance to establish their natural territory and explore; to breed and separate them as we, not they, please; and to let them go insane from loneliness.” also has a form attached in this story, where you can write to the “Blackstone Group”, who owns SeaWorld, and protest your thoughts in a personalized letter that will be sent to ‘Hamilton James’ at the Blackstone Group.

Here is the brief letter that I wrote to the Blackstone Group:

It is cruel to hold these killer whales captive to make money! They are too big for these little bathtub-cages you put them in. They are tired of it! We the people are tired of it!
I’ve got power of the press and I am using it right now to make people aware of what Seaworld and other similar organizations are doing wrong.
Sea World needs to close it’s doors now and set the killer whales FREE!

Please help by going to this link at and write your own letter to the Blackstone Group to help save the future of the killer whales!

Did Rob Pattinson Dump Kristen Stewart?

After all of Kristen Stewart’s luck and success in working in Hollywood, you’d think she’d look a little happier. Here she is at the Elle Style Awards last night, hating every second of it… or does she just ‘look’ like she’s hating it? Wait! Maybe her Twilight co-star Rob Pattinson dumped her? Hey, if she’s over being a famous working actress , I would be glad to take her spot! Call me!

Tony Bennett Says “Kiss the Good Life Goodbye” to David Letterman at Las Vegas Hilton Concert

photo 3 300x225 Tony Bennett Says Kiss the Good Life Goodbye to David Letterman at Las Vegas Hilton Concert

Last night, we went to a Tony Bennett concert at the Las Vegas Hilton! I love Tony Bennett, but my Grandma loved him even more! I was the youngest person at the concert, but I might have been the most excited. I’m one of those emotional people who get so happy that they cry! I was searching for tissues in the dark! LOL!

Tony Bennett is such a big legend. He is the last player still performing from the era of the Frank Sinatra pack. Tony even mentioned that Frank Sinatra was his best friend in show business. Tony also mentioned that he doesn’t really like today’s music, he still likes to listen and sing music from the good old days. Tony was singing songs from the 1930’s! The old time songs are so interesting to me, they all last about 1 minute! Just when it sounds like the song has started, it’s already over! Hey, it keeps your attention I guess!

Tony sang a lot of his famous tunes like “I left my heart in San Francisco” and “The best is yet to come.” Tony then began to sing a song and he said, “this song is dedicated to David Letterman… it’s titled “Kiss the good life goodbye.”” (The name of that song is actually just “The good life” but the lyrics say, “kiss the good life goodbye.”) Everyone in the audience chuckled at Tony’s joke.

Soooo was Tony saying for David Letterman to ‘kiss the good life goodbye’? Was this a burn to Dave? A joke? Are they friends???

The concert was heartwarming and beautiful. We had a great time, but it would have been greater if Tony’s manager would have let us backstage for a picture and mini interview!!! Well, at least I got a picture with his poster! We love Tony anyway! Great show!

I wonder if Tony will make an appea

Judge Grants Joe Jackson Access to Michael’s Medical Records

A couple weeks ago, Los Angeles prosecutors had charged Michael Jackson’s late physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, with involuntary manslaughter. Murray pleaded not guilty to the charge, but he admitted giving Michael the powerful anesthetic “Propofol” as a sleep aid on the day Michael died.

Since that hearing, Michael’s father Joe Jackson has not been satisfied with the outcome. He wants to dig deeper into this case…he believes there is more than meets the eye.

Back in court Friday morning, a Los Angeles judge just granted Joe Jackson permission to obtain his son Michael Jackson’s medical records. But the catch is that Joe nor the public will be able to see the documents. Judge Mitchell Beckloff stated that only a hired ‘medical expert’ could view the documents for Joe.

After viewing the documents, reports say that Joe will then decide whether or not to take further legal action against Dr. Conrad Murray, who was the Doctor with Michael the time of his death.

Megan Fox W Magazine Interview, Photos and Video

Here is the interview with Megan Fox in the latest “W Magazine”. The guys over at typed out the whole interview! I like this interview of Megan. For once she doesn’t seem arrogant. She seems very honest, vulnerable, soft and approachable. Read the interview and enjoy the visuals :)

* * * * * W Magazine Interview:

“Megan Fox trudges onto a soundstage on the outskirts of Santa Fe, New Mexico, dressed like a college student: sweats, hiking boots and a puffy jacket, its fur-rimmed hood pulled tight over her head. She would blend in perfectly on campus—the soundstage is inside the theater of a community college—were it not for the words “Patricia Field” scrawled in gold rope along the back of the jacket. And were it not for the fact that Field herself gave Megan Fox the jacket, during the second season of Hope & Faith, the sitcom on which Field served as costume designer and Megan Fox portrayed a sullen, sexy teenager. After the New York–based series was canceled in 2006, the Florida-raised actress hightailed it to Los Angeles, where she has been living ever since. The gold-adorned puffer remains her only winter coat.

Megan Fox is in Santa Fe to film the movie Passion Play, in which she’s one third of an unlikely cast triumvirate alongside Mickey Rourke and Bill Murray. On this Monday, her day off from filming but not from being Megan Fox, she enters the building and quickly disappears into a back room, emerging 45 minutes later in a more recognizable form —tumbling dark locks, painted lips, a low-cut blouse. Quietly, with focus, Megan Fox rolls through a series of shots with a photographer. In person she is diminutive, nearly tomboyish with long, thin limbs, and a small face, yet on the monitors, her delicate features pop as full and exotic. The camera’s affection for her makes things easy: With plenty of images to choose from, the shoot wraps two hours early, and Megan Fox strides back to her dressing room, head down, entirely disinterested in the thousands of dollars’ worth of chiffon and leather and bedazzled duds in her path.

How to Get Hollywood Hair in Las Vegas

My old highlights were past due for a fix… I just wanted to get those brassy strands out and put a new color in! Who would I go to in the Las Vegas area to get my hair revived Hollywood style? None other than Max Maddux.

Max Maddux who is currently over at Cielo Salon and Spa, is a tailored color specialist of 20 years. I sent him the pictures of what I wanted to do with my hair, made the appointment, and I went to Cielo for my appointment.

Max was so confident with what he was going to do with my hair. I knew I didn’t have to worry. He said he looked at the hair color in the pictures I sent him, and he already had the colors picked out.

Max then came back with the mixed colors for my hair. We decided to do 3 colors so my hair would have subtle dimension, rather than it just looking solid dark with no movement.

*Hair 411* about going from light to dark:
When you want to go darker with your hair color, just know that the processing time will be longer if your hair has bleach/highlights in it already. More highlights and bleach equals longer processing and possibly a second round of processing again to cover any highlights peeking through still. Hey! That means you get two head massages! :)

He painted away, ridding the brass of the past. He painted and painted, we talked and talked…then I sat to process the color. He washed my hair with good strong hands, then we went back to the chair for a trim.

*Trim 411* being specific about trim length:
When you tell your hairdresser ‘how much length you want cut off of your hair’, you need to be super specific. You must tell them how many inches you want cut and show them in a visual way. You could bring a ruler to show them, or even draw a picture. A “trim” is different to every hairdresser. My trim was only about an inch. If you only get your hair done every 2 months, then you should get at least an inch off. If you’re like me and you curl and straighten your hair, then you probably have some dead ends that need to go bye-bye.

Max then blow-dryed my hair with a nice round-brush. I love round-brushes. They make your hair voluptuous and straight with a slight curl at the ends. You don’t need any irons after using round-brushes.

After the blow-dry, Max sprayed my hair lightly with “Bumble and Bumble” hairspray, and I was done!

Ohhh! I just love my hair color and cut! Finally it’s all blended and dark again! Max was so cool and Cielo Salon is so relaxed and everyone is nice there. I had a great time and I am very happy with my hair. Another great thing is that Max is the kind of hairdresser that will fix your hair if you think something is little ‘off’. You just call him and he will take care of it.
