Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s Being Sued

I don’t like Elisabeth Hasselbeck so I’ll admit that this brings me some joy.  However, I am going to put my feelings aside and report the honest-to-God truth.  The View star Elisabeth Hasselbeck is being sued by a self-published writer from Massachusetts.  The woman, Susan Hasset, claims Hasselbeck lifted portions and chapter titles from her book Living With Celiac Disease.  Mrs. Hasselbeck just published a book about gluten-free diets titled The G-Free Diet: A Gluten-Free Survival Guide.  Hasset says the book is a big rip-off.  Hasset says she sent Hasselbeck a copy of her book last year, along with a video and personal letter and now she assumes that Hasselbeck read the book and promptly copied it.  Right now, letters from both lawyers are bouncing back and forth.  We’ll see if this goes to court.
