Yahoo news gave Paris’ cherry themed outfit a low blow. They said that her dress was hot, but her fake tan and her plastic earrings bombed. I disagree. I think she looks cute. Do you?
Paris Hilton Cherry Bombed
A judge sided with Paris Hilton who was sued by a movie company who claimed that Hilton failed to promote the movie “Pledge This” like they agreed.
U.S. District Judge Federico Moreno left the door open for Worldwide Ent. to recover up-to $1MIL in fees Hilton was paid.
Judge Moreno calling Hilton a “celebrity promoter,” wrote that the film was “hardly destined for critical acclaim” and he thought that Hilton was paid $1MIL for “acting” and “executive producer services.”
Moreno said that chances were the movie bombed “because the film’s inexperienced producers hastily cobbled together a wholly inadequate marketing plan. Any causal connection between Ms. Hilton’s alleged breaches and the financial ruin of the film are wholly speculative.”
Hilton plays the president of a sorority at fictional South Beach University in the 2006 National Lampoon Movie.

Paris’ former manager of ten years, Jason Moore, has approached a number of publishers about writing a tell all book about Paris and how she became famous.
The New York Daily News newspaper claims Jason’s pitch letter states: “Jason will demonstrate how, for 10 years, he managed to save his mercurial client from disgrace by manipulating the media, and Paris herself.”
“Paris was oftentimes her own worst enemy, making a sex tape with a former boyfriend, nursing hangovers during photo shoots, falling asleep everywhere, and getting thrown in jail for numerous driving violations. If Paris Hilton didn’t have Jason Moore pulling the strings, cleaning up her messes she could well have faded into oblivion.”
Jason worked with Paris for ten years, but she never had him sign a confidentiality agreement, which means he’s free to publish this information. Uh-oh!!! Never do that!
He says: “She spent hours at a time posing in front of the mirror, nailing down the ideal position to create the perfect paparazzi photo.
“She wanted to become the kind of character that would land commercials, international endorsements, film and TV roles.”

I find this very hard to believe but let’s take Paris Hilton at her word, shall we? The hotel heiress/sometimes actress claims the late Michael Jackson named his daughter Paris after…well, her. Hmm. Here’s Ms. Hilton’s explanation, via Extra:
“My mom and Michael went to high school together and they were best friends since they were 13,” Paris explains. “So I grew up knowing Michael very well and when he had his daughter, he always loved the name Paris and grew up being an uncle to me. So he asked my mom if it was okay and of course she said yes and I think she’s such a beautiful little girl and I’m proud we have the same name.”
Really? I just find this hard to believe. Sure, Michael Jackson might have been fond of the Hiltons but maybe — just maybe! – he named his daughter after one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
Paris was promoting her new MTV documentary Paris, Not France, which debuts July 28.

Paris Hilton is on trial in Miami for not doing enough to promote her 2006 movie, “Pledge This!”
The federal lawsuit filed on behalf of investors claims Paris didn’t honor her contract to promote the DVD release. The lawsuit seeks more than $8 million from Paris and her entertainment firm even though the film only made $2.9 million worldwide.
Paris has stated that she did everything she could do to promote the movie.
The trial begins today, and Paris is expected to testify Friday.

Paris Hilton may not know how to handle sparklers on the fourth of July but she still manages to sparkle.. well in some seriously valuable diamonds.
She spent the weekend with jeweler Pascal Mouawad in Lebanon, where the pair stayed in the Royal Suite of the Grand Hills Hotel & Spa.. the Guinness World Record holder for largest hotel suite (4,131 square meters).
A great place to stay wasn’t all the heiress got, she walked with over $500,000 worth of diamonds for FREE. You can even see the unbelievably large diamond dangling from her silver chain.
I think its safe to say that Miss Hilton enjoyed herself this weekend.

Seriously, young Hollywood, how hard is it NOT to film yourselves having sex?
Leighton Meester, star of Gossip Girl (which I’ve still never seen), is surely red-faced as TMZ reports her sex tape is now online. There was talk of this video the other day but now celebhotline.com has pictures of it online, confirming that they own the video and will show it to paying customers. Word to the wise: that site is NSFW so stay away.
Apparently the video is a few years old and somewhat tame compared to other celebrity sex tapes (aside from an alleged trick performed with her feet) but it’s still embarrassing for the rising star. I don’t know much about her character on the show. Is she the bad girl? Will this sex tape help her image? I mean, Paris Hilton established an entire “career” because of a sex tape. Maybe this isn’t so bad!
Of course, Meester’s reps aren’t saying anything and I’m sure lawsuits will be springing up soon enough. But until then, the video is ready to view — if you’ve got the cash.
