At least seven people are being treated by LAFD Monday afternoon after being hit by a vehicle at the L.A. Auto Show taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
A vehicle that appeared to be a Fiat 500 crashed outside the L.A. Auto Show, leaving multiple people injured on Nov. 21, 2016.
The crash was reported about 1:15 p.m. at 1201 S. Figueroa St., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Seven patients were being evaluated after being struck by a car at or near the convention center, Brian Humphrey of LAFD said. The patients were on or near a sidewalk when they were hit by a vehicle at the Auto Show, he said. The connection between the vehicle and the auto show will be determined by police, Humphrey said. Ivan Archivaldo Guzman, the son of imprisoned drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, is reportedly one of the half-dozen people abducted from La Leche restaurant in Puerto Vallarta.
Jalisco state Attorney General told reporters that “it is presumed,” though not yet certain, that Guzman was among the men kidnapped from the trendy restaurant by a group of masked assailants.
Officials earlier estimated that 10 to 12 had been kidnapped, based on the confused nature of evidence at the crime scene. Continue reading

Texas mother, Christine Thi Woo, who had been missing since Monday, was found dead by police in her SUV Thursday evening in the parking lot of a Target store in McKinney, Texas. By her side where her three young children, all of which were severely dehydrated – but alive.
Woo, 39, had last been seen at her residence on Monday morning, a statement on the Frisco Police Department’s Facebook page says.
Her three children – a 1-year old girl, 3-year-old boy and 5-year-old girl – were transported to a local hospital, according to another statement on the page. Woo’s cause of death is Continue reading
After going missing a week ago, missing Iosco County, Michigan, woman, Angela Kay Bartman, has been found dead.
A Michigan State Police found Bartman’s remains in the woods in Baldwin Township, according to Michigan State Police Sgt. Pete McNamara. Bartman was located about 300 yards from her vehicle, a blue 2010 Jeep Compass, McNamara said.
The sergeant said it appeared the Jeep became stuck and ran out of gas, prompting Bartman to get out and walk. “She wasn’t dressed for the weather. Continue reading
Call it an automotive tragedy. A transport truck in Paris carrying nine supercars and assorted sports cars flipped on the highway leaving the beasts aboard in a mangled state.
Media reports say that the incident, which involved a Ferrari F430, Lamborghini Gallardo and a Turbo Porsche 911, occurred last Friday on a stretch of road that connects the A12 and A13.

AZ Gov. Doug Ducey announced they have arrested a suspect in the random I-10 freeway shootings.
Ducey says the arrest came just before 7 p.m. on Friday. “We got him! DPS SWAT team is in custody of the individual suspected of I-10 shootings. Apprehended moments ago.” the Governor said in a tweet.
The governor’s office says the suspect is 21-year-old Leslie Allen Merritt. He was arrested at a Wal-Mart at 5600 W. Northern. Authorities say they found the gun on the suspect and it matches the case. Continue reading
Sheriff’s investigators have recommended manslaughter charges for then Bruce Jenner in a fatal crash that killed Calabasas woman, Kim Howe.
If the recommendation sticks, there will likely be a high profile trial to follow.

Bellott, 20, was killed and of her friends were seriously injured after their 2003 Jeep Liberty SUV was involved in a rollover accident on Interstate 95 in Pennsylvania Sunday. The blossoming singer and her friends were on their way back to their New Jersey homes after attending “American Idol” auditions held at Temple University’s Liacouras Center in Philadelphia.
