Justin Ross Harris has been found guilty on all counts in the death on his young son who he left in a hot car.
Harris, the father of a toddler who died after police say he was left in a hot car for about seven hours. A grand jury indicted Harris on multiple charges, including malice murder, felony murder and cruelty to children. The malice murder charge indicates that prosecutors believe that Harris intentionally left his son Cooper in the hot car to die.
Ross faces life in prison plus 40 years behind bars.
A grand jury involved in investigating allegations of misconduct against Planned Parenthood, instead indicted two of the filmmakers who exposed the organization in a series of hidden camera videos.
Harris County district attorney, Devon Anderson, said Monday that the director of the Center for Medical Progress, David Daleiden, had been indicted on a felony charge of “tampering with a governmental record” and a misdemeanor count related to purchasing human organs.

Anne Swaney, a Chicago woman vacationing in Belize was found murdered Friday afternoon. She was staying at the Nabitunich Resort near the town of San Jose Succotz.
Swaney, 39, was an executive producer at ABC7 News In Chicago. She was located face down with her head and neck lacerated in a river near a popular Belize vacation spot.

Dance Moms strict star instructor, Abby Lee Miller, has been indicted on serious charges of bankruptcy fraud, concealment of bankruptcy assets, and false bankruptcy declarations, Attorney David J. Hickton announced Wednesday.
If convicted, Miller could face five years in prison, a fine of $250,000 or both for each count of the indictment,” the statement said.

A grand jury has indicted Jesse Matthew with the October 17, 2009 disappearance and death of Morgan Harrington.
Matthew is facing with first-degree murder and abduction with intent to defile. The maximum penalty for each offense is life in prison.

Michael Egan, the man who claimed Singer organized pool parties to groom young boys, and then abruptly withdrew his lawsuit, was indicted by feds Thursday for allegedly defrauding investors by promising to invest money in Halloween-themed ventures, but instead pocketing the cash to pay for personal expenses.

Six people were shot during a suspected attempted robbery at a bar, Pooh’s Corner, in the city’s Carondelet neighborhood, police said.
The bar is frequented by police though none of the injured patrons was an officer, police said.
The incident happened at about 10:40 p.m. Police said three suspects entered the bar, announced a robbery, and shots were exchanged between patrons and suspects. Continue reading
Demonstrators protesting the Ferguson, Missouri grand jury’s decision charged onto the 101 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles Tuesday night and stopped traffic cold.
CHP officers arrived on the scene shortly after and erected barricades and pulled the demonstrators to the side of the road.
After running into the roadway shortly after 9 p.m., the protesters blocked all lanes at Grand Avenue by placing barricades that they had picked up on side streets. The protesters had marched to the 101 Freeway from Los Angeles Police Department headquarters in downtown, where hundreds had gathered earlier in the evening. h/t ktla

DeAndre Joshua was found dead in the aftermath of the riots in Ferguson, Missouri. According to a newly released report from The Last Refuge, the young man, may be the 1st grand jury witness murdered for testifying truthfully in the Michael Brown case.
The killing is said to be the result of revenge for his testimony.
DeAndre Joshua, 20, fits the social profile of an eye-witness who gave a police/FBI statement and testified before the Grand Jury in the Mike Brown shooting case. He was an employed black male, with no history of drug use or illicit behavior. He was also a friend of Dorian Johnson who is currently under protection. h/t beforeitsnews
