Four people have reportedly died and at least 40 more were injured Saturday when a bus carrying football team members from Ramah Juco Academy in Rock Hill, S.C., crashed into an overpass on Interstate 74 near Rockingham.
The team was traveling to play a game against the University of God’s Chosen Disciples when the accident occurred.

Rodolfo Rodriguez, the famous cigar-chomping Mexican bullfighter, has died of a heart attack at a hospital in the western city of Guadalajara. He was 64.
One month ago, Rodriguez, who was nicknamed, “El Pana,” was violently gored by a pair of bulls during a corrida. The goring left him a quadriplegic.
The matador, who had been hospitalized since then, died of a “sudden heart attack” late Thursday at a hospital in the western city of Guadalajara, Luis Quintero, an official at the National Bullfighters Association, told AFP. Continue reading
Jason Dalton, the suspect in the deadly shooting spree in Kalamazoo that left six people dead and two others seriously injured, was a working Uber driver, who dropped off fares during the 7-hour rampage.
Dalton, 45, was dropping off Uber passengers in between three different shooting locations on Thursday night. None of those fares were injured.
Police are investigating reports that he dropped off a group of people at a Fairfield Inn, then went next door to the Cracker Barrel and opened fire, killing four people and severely injuring a 14-year-old girl. Continue reading
UPDATE: The daughter of the nurse said to have won the Powerball jackpot says her mom did NOT win. Developing.. Via ABC7: A Pomona nurse won the record-breaking Powerball jackpot with a ticket given to her by her boss.
The 62-year-old woman is a senior registered nurse at Park Avenue Health Care and Wellness Center in Pomona, according to a spokesperson for nursing home owner Shlomo Rechnitz.
Rechnitz bought 18,000 tickets for his employees and residents at 80 nursing homes across California. The winning ticket was purchased in Chino Hills.
The spokesperson told ABC7 the nurse was unaware she’d won until her son sent her a picture of the ticket over the phone.
Even though the nurse knew she’d won, the spokesperson said she still finished her shift before going home.
The nurse is married and has seven children, six of whom are also nurses.
Texas couple, Mercedes Casanellas and her husband, Richard Cushworth, left a hospital in El Salvador with what they thought was their baby, but as it turns out, the baby was actually switched with another – on purpose..
Casanellas and Cushworth, both missionaries, were working in Latin America when she gave birth to a baby boy at a private hospital, but before the couple returned to their Dallas, Texas home, Casanellas says she knew something wasn’t right.

“My dear friends and fans!” Harper, 75, began in a Facebook post on Friday evening. “As always, thank you for your amazing support. I am happy to report I am not, nor have I been, in a coma.”
According to a report, Harper had collapsed backstage after performing Nice Work If You Can Get It in Ogunquit, Maine. The Ogunquit Playhouse’s artistic director Branford T. Kenney confirmed that she had been taken to a local hospital “as a precaution”. h/t people

A Domino’s Pizza driver is in critical condition after being shot several times late Saturday night in an apparent robbery.
The driver was delivering a pizza near 141st and Indiana in Dolton, Illinois, when he was ambushed and robbed. Police say the suspects lured the delivery by ordering a pizza to an abandoned home with the intention of attacking the driver.
