Diddy Tossed In Solitary Confinement After Fight With Fellow Inmate At Fort Dix Prison

FORT DIX, NJ. (THECOUNT)Sean “Diddy” Combs, 56, allegedly became involved in a physical altercation with another inmate this week at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey, resulting in his placement in solitary confinement, according to multiple media reports.

FCI Fort Dix is a low-security federal prison located in Burlington County in southern New Jersey, approximately 40 miles east of Philadelphia. The facility houses thousands of federal inmates and is operated by the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

TMZ reported that the incident began after another inmate allegedly insulted Combs. Sources told the outlet that tensions escalated quickly, prompting the music mogul to confront the inmate inside the prison.

According to the report, the two inmates engaged in a brief physical scuffle involving pushing and punches before prison staff intervened and separated them. Sources claimed Combs “held his own” during the altercation.

Following the incident, prison officials reportedly placed Combs in solitary confinement, commonly referred to by inmates as “the hole.” It remains unclear whether he is still being held in segregation or what disciplinary action, if any, may ultimately result from the alleged fight.

The Federal Correctional Institution at Fort Dix has declined to comment on the report. Prison officials stated that they do not disclose internal information pertaining to inmates in federal custody.

In a statement provided to media outlets, officials said, “We are not at liberty to disclose or provide internal information pertaining to any inmate in our custody. Such information would not be available for the public domain.”

The Federal Bureau of Prisons similarly stated that it does not comment on disciplinary matters or other information regarding individual inmates due to privacy, safety and security concerns.

Combs is currently serving his federal sentence and is presently scheduled for release in February 2028, provided he receives all available credits for good behavior and complies with institutional rules and regulations during his incarceration.

Federal inmates may lose earned time credits or face other disciplinary sanctions if prison officials determine they violated institutional policies. However, no official findings or disciplinary reports regarding the alleged altercation have been publicly released.

Authorities have not disclosed whether either inmate suffered injuries during the incident.
