LA Woman Casi Blaylock ID’d As Victim In Thursday Lake Providence Fatal Head-On Vehicle Crash

EAST CARROLL PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Casi Blaylock, of Epps, louisiana, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Thursday vehicle crash in East Carroll Parish.

Blaylock, 45, was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Lake Providence late Thursday afternoon.

According to reports, Blaylock was operating a Chevrolet Monte Carlo on U.S. 65 in Lake Providence, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 3:45 p.m. Thursday. The vehicle then came into head-on contact with a Chevrolet Silverado.

Blaylock was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries suffered in the wreck.

The Silverado driver suffered moderate injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
