MORGAN COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Jeremy Alexander Morse, of Decatur, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday night shooting at a Morgan County campground.
Morse, 48, was shot dead at Quail Creek Resort Hartselle Thursday night.
According to reports, police responded to QC Inn and RV Resort at 233 Quail Creek Drive in Hartselle around 7:30 p.m. on reports of shots fired. When they arrived, Morse was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Morse was pronounced dead at the scene of gunshot injuries.
Details of the shooting are limited but authorities said it was the result of a “domestic relationship.”
No one was arrested at the scene.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
