HOCKING COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Ethan Cole Fout, of McArthur, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday morning fatal vehicle crash in Hocking County.
Fout, 19, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Washington Township early Thursday.
According to reports, Fout was operating a Ford F-250 pickup truck on State Route 93 near Mile Marker 1, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway around 5:45 a.m. Thursday. The vehicle then came into contact with a substantial tree – ejecting Fout.
Fout was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
