SCIOTO COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Joshua Alley, of Lucasville, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday fatal vehicle crash in Scioto County.
“Josh” Alley, 19, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Madison Township early Sunday morning.
According to reports, Alley was operating a vehicle on Blue Run Road near Isaac Rickey Road in Madison Township, when for still undetermined reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the rodway around 3:45 a.m. Sunday. The vehicle then entered a culvert, rolled over and made contact with a substantial tree.
Alley’s passenger, 20-year-old Caleb Cunningham, of South Webster, was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Alley was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
