HARRISON COUNTY, IA. (THECOUNT) — Faith Elizabeth Staska, of Missouri Valley, Iowa, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday fatal vehicle crash in Harrison County.
Staska, 21, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Missouri Valley early Sunday morning.
According to reports, 21-year-old Quinten Vogel was operating a vehicle with Staska as his passenger on 335 Street near Merrick Place in Missouri Valley, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 3 a.m. Sunday. The vehicle then came into contact with two substantial trees.
Vogel was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
Staska was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
