GREENVILLE COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Wendy Nesmith, of Greenville, South Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday fatal vehicle crash in Greenville County.
Nesmith, 53, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Greenville early Wednesday morning.
According to reports, Nesmith was operating a vehicle on the 7000 block of Augusta Road near Matrix Road, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 4 a.m. Wednesday. The vehicle then entered a culvert and rolled over.
Nesmith was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
