HARDIN COUNTY, KY. (THECOUNT) — Lance Winemiller of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, has been identified as the victim in a freak workplace accident in Hardin County Tuesday.
Winemiller, 24, was killed while working at Metalsa, which produces automotive parts in Elizabethtown on early Tuesday.
According to reports, first responders arrived to 750 N. Black Brand Road on reports of an injured worker around 3 a.m. Tuesday morning. When they arrived, Winemiller was found injured after apparently being struck by a forklift.
Winemiller died as a result of his injuries.
No further details were immediately made available.
