NEW HAVEN COUNTY, CT. (THECOUNT) — Nilson Diniz, of West Haven, Connecticut, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday fatal motorcycle crash in New Haven County.
Diniz, 27, was killed in a single-motorcycle crash in New Haven on Sunday.
According to reports, Diniz was operating a motorcycle near the Exit 47 ramp on Interstate 95 in New Haven, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway on Sunday. The bike then made contact with a jersey barrier.
Diniz was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
