NORFOLK COUNTY, MA. (THECOUNT) — Eric Small, of Cambridge, Massachusetts, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday triple-shooting in Norfolk County.
Small, 30, was killed, and two others injured, in a shooting at a Weymouth apartment complex early Sunday.
According to reports, police responded to a call of shots fired at the Mastlight apartment complex at 10 Patriot Parkway in South Weymouth around 3 a.m. Sunday. When they arrived, three people were found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Police say the shooting may have happened during an indoor event or party that spilled out into the parking lot.
Small was pronounced dead of gunshot injuries. Two others were transported to an area hospital in unknown condition. A fourth person was transported for an undisclosed medical reason.
Officials said no one has been arrested, but there is no danger to the public as the shooting was deemed “not random,” according to officials.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
