MARICOPA COUNTY, AZ. (THECOUNT) — Desiree Colter, of Phoenix, Arizona, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday morning murder-suicide in Maricopa County. John Parker has been identified as the shooter.
Colter, 33, was shot dead in an apparent murder-suicide near Phoenix Tuesday morning.
According to reports, Parker, 43, fatally shot Colter before turning the gun on himself at a Phoenix apartment near Wonderview Road and 40th Avenue around 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Officials say, Colter and Parker were in a relationship and lived together in the apartment.
The couple had an argument that turned physical, say authorities.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
