WASHINGTON COUNTY, ME. (THECOUNT) — Tyler Dwyer, of Houlton, Maine, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Thursday morning vehicle crash in Washington County.
Dwyer, 30, was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer near Topsfield Thursday morning.
According to reports, Dwyer was operating a pickup truck on Route 1 near Topsfield, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 9:20 a.m. Thursday. The vehicle then made head-on contact with a big-rig, operated by Gregory Worster, 58, of Kingman.
Dwyer was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in his vehicle suffered unknown injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
