PLATTE COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Shelby Lanae Peterman, of St. Joseph, Missouri, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Friday vehicle crash in Platte County.
Peterman, 27, was killed in a multi-vehicle crash near Platte City Friday afternoon.
According to reports, Peterman was operating a Chevy Impala on I-29 near Platte City, when for unknown reasons, a Ford F-150 came into contact with her vehicle and two others around 12 p.m. Friday.
Peterman was killed in the crash.
The driver of the Ford F-150 was not hurt. Other driver injuries in the collision were not provided, however, a toddler in Peterman’s vehicle suffered minor injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
