CUMRU TOWNSHIP, PA. (THECOUNT) — Andrew Dietrich, of Birdsboro, Pennsylvania, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Thursday night vehicle crash in Cumro Township.
Dietrich, 22, was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Birdsboro Thursday night.
According to reports, Dietrich was operating a pickup truck on PA-724 near Ridgeway Road in Birdsboro, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 7:30 p.m. Thursday. The vehicle then swerved, flipped over and collided with another vehicle.
Dietrich was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash of blunt force trauma injuries.
The driver and passenger in the other vehicle were not seriously injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
