LAMAR COUNTY, MS. (THECOUNT) — Jackson Michela Weaver, of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday fatal vehicle crash in Lamar County.
Weaver, 22, was killed in a vehicle crash that also injured two others near Hattiesburg Tuesday night.
According to reports, Bryce Mitchell of Hattiesburg, was operating a vehicle on US-98 near Cole road, when the vehicle came into contact with an SUV, operated by Ashia Smith of Hattiesburg around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Weaver, who was traveling as a passenger in Mitchell’s vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
Mitchell was not injured in the crash.
Smith and her passenger Angela Adams of Columbia, suffered unknown injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
