HAMILTON COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Fredrick Joseph Strothman, of Harrison, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Friday morning two-vehicle crash in Hamilton County.
Strothman, 66, was killed in a two-vehicle wrong-way crash near Whitewater Township on Friday morning.
According to reports, Strothman was operating a Ford Focus on Harrison Avenue in Cleves, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 9 a.m. Friday. The vehicle then collided head-on with a GMC Yukon XL. Both vehicles then exited the roadway and rolled over.
The Yukon driver was transported to an area hospital with unknown non-life threatening injuries.
Strothman was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
