NEW MADRID COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Kayla Danielle Atchley, of New Madrid, Missouri, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday night fatal single-vehicle crash in New Madrid County.
Atchley, 24, was killed in a Sunday night single-vehicle crash near the town of Parma.
According to reports, Atchley was operating a vehicle on MO-153 near Parma, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 9 p.m. Sunday. The vehicle then entered a culvert causing it to overturn.
Atchley, who was ejected during the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.

According to social media, Atchley worked as a pool lifeguard at Holiday Inn Club Vacations.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
