DALLAS, TX. (THECOUNT) — Charles Ray Calahan, of Dallas, Texas, has been identified as the pedestrian fatally struck by a vehicle Wednesday night in Dallas.
Calahan, 55, was on-foot in the area of Scyene Road when he was struck and killed by a passing vehicle Wednesday night.
According to officials, Calahan was walking in the 6600 block of Scyene Road when he was hit by a vehicle around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office.
It is unclear if the vehicle involved stopped following the fatal strike.
No further information was provided as of Thursday morning.
The deadly incident remains under investigation.
