Jackson MS Baptist Medical Center Shooting Leaves 2 Dead Wednesday Morning

JACKSON, MS. (THECOUNT) — Two people were shot dead at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi Wednesday morning after a suspect opened fire on a vehicle.

The deadly shooting occurred Wednesday morning in a campus parking lot area.

Police say they are investigating following a double-fatal shooting at the hospital located on North State Street Wednesday.

A witness to the shooting says that a man fired into a black Toyota, and then fired shots at them.

The shooting remains under investigation.
