LOS ANGELES, CA. (THECOUNT) — Rapper Bashar Barakah Jackson, who goes by the name “Pop Smoke,” has reportedly been killed in a Los Angeles home invasion Wednesday.
Jackson, 20, was shot and killed in the early hours of Wednesday (Feb. 19) in what appears to be a Hollywood Hills home invasion.
Jackson was staying at a home in Hollywood Hills when two masked men reportedly broke into the residence in an attempted robbery, law enforcement sources told the outlet.
Jackson was critical injured from multiple shot wounds and was transported to Cedars Sinai hospital where he was pronounced dead.
