MARCUS, IA. (THECOUNT) — Alexa Lee Brewster, of Cherokee, Iowa, has been identified as the victim killed in a car accident in Marcus, Iowa on Thursday afternoon.
Brewster, 25, was killed following a vehicle collision involving a tractor-trailer in Marcus on Thursday afternoon.
According to reports, Brewster was traveling in a vehicle near the intersection of Highway 3 and D Avenue Thursday around 3:45 p.m, when she collided with a big-rig.
Brewster’s car ended in the north ditch, and the semi came to rest in the eastbound lane of Highway 3, reports SiouxlandProud.
Brewster was pronounced dead at the scene.
She was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
